Intro to Major and Core Major Course Requirements

- Students majoring in Economics (first major) and students from other majors must complete the following introductory major courses.
- Introductory major courses are mandatory but are not included in the credits for the major.

(1) Introductory Major Courses

18 Students from other departments who are pursuing a double major in Economics may substitute Economic Statistics (ECO2004) with Managerial Statistics (MGT2002), Introduction to Statistics (MAT3020), or Applied Mathematics I (MAT2410). However, students cannot take Economic Statistics if they have already completed one of the substitutions.
